A little information about Crafting Sunshine

This charity started when we realized there were so many groups that needed more help than we could give on our own. We picked a few groups that were close to our hearts to focus on. They are our two local animal shelters, ALS(Lou Gehrig's Disease) Central & Southwest Ohio Chapter, Hospice, and our local children's medical center. Right now, we are working on becoming a registered non-profit, charitable organization with the label, 501 (c). Please bare with us as we organize our online side.

We have been Yarn Stormed!!!

I am very excited about sharing this with all of you!! Crafting Sunshine has been yarn stormed by a group on Ravelry called Yarn Storming. They send boxes with donated yarn to charities and others in need of yarn, to help others. Please check out their group and let them know that they are doing a wonderful thing! I could not believe how much yarn was in the box! 32 skeins/balls of yarn!! Amazing that this much yarn was shared with Crafting Sunshine! We are going to be able to bring a lot of sunshine to people that need it!! I can not wait to share photos of finished projects made from this yarn.
